Our Founder Ms. Dawson's background is in cosmetology. While working as a hair stylist Ms.Dawson realized that clients who suffered from thinning hair as a result of tension from braids, extensions sewn too tight, glue on the scalp or hair loss from medications, alopecia, lupus or chemo,  had few options available locally. This lack of help prompted her to study hair replacement systems, protective styling methods and techniques which resulted in LaidByTheGawds Wigs for non-surgical hair replacement as well as restoration. She also has a Mobile salon to cater to those who prefer privacy or are just too busy to make it to a salon. Giving back and making a difference in someone's life is her sole purpose. With her clients and sisters alike in mind, she continues to create ways to help them vibrantly strut thru life and the obstacles they may face. In order to stay up-to-date, Our team regularly attend conferences and training seminars worldwide. In a few short years, we will release of first hair product line for all textures, So stay tuned for that!
